Any existing telecom subscriber or new subscriber can request his/her telephone number to be included in the National Do Not Call Register. Such requests will be free of cost.

The telecom service provider will acknowledge the request within ten days. Requests will become effective in 45 days from the date of request.

However, upon registering for DNCR, you shall continue to receive such telephone calls or SMS (other than promotional message) of transactions, payment reminders, etc. for which you may consent while application or otherwise for the said products/ services. Unsolicited commercials calls will not include such messages as may be transmitted on the directions of the Government.
